Librarian Spotlight: Lizah Ismail

Lizah Ismail, Director of the Library at Limestone College, has always been interested in libraries; however, she did not think that interest would lead to her career today.

About the Limestone College Library

The A. J. Eastwood Library was built 50 years ago to accommodate a growing student body and an expanding library collection. Construction of the library began in October of 1965 and was completed in August of 1966. It was named for former Limestone College President Andrew Jackson Eastwood.

Alumni Spotlight: Jackie Conyers

Jackie Conyers had always known she wanted to help people and give back to her community. It was this motivation that led her to work as a cosmetologist at the Victory House Nursing Home. Although she was employed as a cosmetologist, she found herself helping her clients with other matters outside of that realm.
